ABOUT ALEX BIRCH

Current SQE1 student at The University of Law after completing my PGDL with Distinction and my Bachelors degree in History and Russian at The University of Manchester.Passionate about commercial, property and private client work and I am actively seeking QWE this cycle.I have recently completed pro bono work with Amicus - a legal non-profit organisation based in London where I have assisted advocates working for clients on death row in Missouri, USA - where I developed and displayed my skills in conducting case analysis and collaboration. I have also participated in Real Estate and Wills & Trusts Advice Clinics, triaging real clients and presenting written and oral data to teams of solicitors and support staff.Some of my previous roles involved working in project management at The University of Manchester\'s \'Peer Support\' department where I managed 19 Peer Support teams across three faculties, liaising with academic staff and 400+ students to deliver tailored support services to over first-year undergraduates. My performance in the role resulted in over a 20% increase in student volunteer retention rates on my \'schemes\' compared to previous years. Fluent in English, Spanish and Russian.
