About Alexandra Berube

I started Boston Tutoring Services, LLC, in January, 2010, while teaching my second year of Kindergarten in a small, inclusive classroom. My background experience in test preparation (I tutored students for ISEE/SSAT/ACT/SAT through a national tutoring company) led me to found the company to provide myself with more opportunities to prepare students for standardized tests in addition to my classroom teaching work. Boston Tutoring Services took off, and suddenly I had far too much work to handle myself. I started hiring tutors throughout the state, only taking on the highest quality tutors with educational degrees, teacher certification, and a superior level of expertise in test preparation. The business has been expanding rapidly since (June of 2010 was the last I set foot in a Kindergarten classroom, though my love for the art of early education will always remain).
