ABOUT ALEXANDRA BAGGALLAY

I am a Legal 500 Recommended Family lawyer, practicing in Oxford and the Cotswolds. I spent over a deacde working in one of London\'s top-tier family teams, and now work in a top-tier family team in Oxford. I have a background in acting for wealthy individuals in all aspects of their divorce and separation. I have a varied client base, acting for individuals coming from all walks of life. My practice encompasses financial remedy claims (both for married and unmarried parents), and have acted for individuals (or their spouses) with backgrounds in finance, family businesses, the arts and landed estates. I have a a strong private children law practice with an expertise in complex relocation cases and regularly advise on disputes about where children should live or go to school. I also have an established practice in advising individuals in the Oxford area and the Cotswolds in respect of their nuptial agreements and am sought out by clients and other leading professionals as a trusted pair of hands to advise on these. I am committed to achieving good outcomes for my clients through NCDR where possible, often supporting clients through hybrid-mediation and Private FDRs, but am also an experienced and tactical litigator when clients are involved in court proceedings. I am highly regarded within the profession, both in London and also in the Oxford and Cotswolds areas. Both clients and Counsel praise me for being calm under pressure in high conflict cases, being impeccably prepared and for going above and beyond for my clients. I am member of Resolution, an organisation which believes in constructive approaches to family law matters, and currently sit on the Oxford Reginal Committee.
