About Alexandra Peck

With over 10 years of experience in policy advocacy and product stewardship, I am passionate about advancing environmental and sustainability solutions for the consumer technology industry. As a director at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), I help lead the organization\'s environmental and sustainability efforts and serve as a subject matter expert on the circular economy of electronic devices. I represent the industry in stakeholder dialogues on pressing environmental issues and build and engage with industry coalitions to amplify the industry\'s influence.In my current role, I lead the advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues such as packaging, energy efficiency, batteries, chemicals/materials restrictions, and electronic waste at state and federal levels. I leverage my skills in coalition building, presentations, and policy analysis to communicate the industry\'s position and interests to various audiences, including government officials, member companies, and other interested stakeholders. Prior to joining CTA, I managed the product advocacy team at the American Chemistry Council, where I facilitated consensus-based decisions on topics such as health and safety, sustainability, technical research, and environmental health for the polycarbonate/BPA and polyurethane industries.
