I’m a sophomore Industrial Engineering student at Purdue University with a Management minor and a passion for improving how systems operate across manufacturing, healthcare, and service industries. My interests span lean manufacturing, quality engineering, healthcare systems, and data analytics, and I enjoy applying these principles to solve problems where efficiency and reliability make a real impact.At Purdue, I’ve worked on engineering projects through ASME and coursework, including developing a wireless EMG system using Arduino to capture muscle activity and collaborating on a prosthetic arm project in a biomechanics course. In high school, I designed and programmed a 3-D printed prosthetic arm for an amputee in my community, combining technical design and human impact — an experience that shaped my interest in healthcare systems engineering.Beyond academics, I’ve built leadership and teamwork skills through roles such as Head of Admissions for my local Parks & Recreation department, where I trained staff and improved customer operations, and as T-Shirt Chair for Alpha Tau Omega, where I managed event branding and contributed to a philanthropy effort that raised over These roles taught me how to manage people, coordinate logistics, and keep processes running smoothly.I’m eager to bring together my technical skills (Python, C, MATLAB, AutoCAD, Arduino) and my passion for continuous improvement into an internship, contributing to organizations committed to operational excellence while continuing to grow as an engineer.
