Senior Manager leading Materials team at Blue Origin, managing a diverse team and portfolio of metallic and nonmetallic materials enabling launch vehicles (rockets), spacecraft, and launch vehicle infrastructure (e.g. GSE).Previously, Materials & Processes and Production Manager at Firefly Space Systems, leading a team of ~20 Materials Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and 5th-Axis CNC Machinists. Responsible for all M&P and Production efforts to support Firefly\'s Alpha launch vehicle. Responsible for $2.2M budget Q1-Q2, 2016. Significant outward-facing experience working with customers, investors, government stakeholders, and establishing Manufacturing supply chain. Led a pair of NASA and DARPA proposal efforts at Firefly, awarded for $7M.Postdoctoral research focused on scalable nanomanufacturing of composite thin films.Lehigh University PhD studies focus on the convective deposition of particle suspensions from fundamental and application-driven perspectives. Projects include the optimization and fabrication of immunoaffinity cell capture devices, membranes with controllable porosity, and development and enhancement of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) and Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs).Managed the research activities of two full-time research groups with the Biosystems Dynamics Summer Institute. Both projects were highly successful, and resulted in peer-reviewed publications (Langmuir 2011, Langmuir 2012). Princeton University Chemical Engineering senior thesis investigated the bulk and microscale properties of collagen gels in tissue engineering research of neoplastic mammary epithelial cells. Research at University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia focused on reversing and removing protein fouling from ultrafiltration membranes. Earned Intel Corporation\'s highest performance rating. Work focused on manufacturing, wafer metrology and the design and simulation of Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Lithography test mask.
