Manage & advise on contracted environmental studies informing NEPA and CEQA documents for the greenfield permitting of utility-scale wind and solar energy facilities – land use surveys, wetland delineations, biological monitoring, cultural resource surveys. • Facilitate communication with local governments, USFWS, and USACE to obtain conditional use permits, incidental take permits, and Clean Water Act 402 / 404 permits for renewable energy projects. • Manage environmental programs for operating wind & solar assets – ISO 14001 audits, Tier II reporting, SF6 phaseout, SPCC plans / used oil disposal, blade & panel recycling. • Forecast environmental CapEx and OpEx costs for prospective projects – pre-construction environmental permitting, wildlife monitoring, SPCC / • Provide training and guidance to EDPR staff on environmental affairs and permit obligations – wildlife incident reporting, waste management, spill control.
