ABOUT ALEXANDER MALT

I love creating and improving products and services. I get great satisfaction from seeing real value and impact from my work and I have brought together people with similar motivations and diverse skills to build more of these solutions. I encourage autonomy, initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude within my team, within a general context of process discipline and continuous improvement. The projects I have worked on have won innovation awards and proved extremely profitable.I believe strongly in Terry Pratchett’s dictum: “Genius will see you through times of no money far better than money will see you through times of no genius.” I therefore emphasise developing robust processes and leveraging available tools, rather than purchasing, on-boarding and relying on flashy technology. I focus on the end users rather than the idealised users. I analyse projects strategically, using each project to build long-term capabilities that serve as building blocks for more advanced projects down the line.Outside of work, I am a geek through and through: I was an early student of and advocate for blockchain technology, I enjoy coding and tinkering, I read cyberpunk fiction, and I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
