ABOUT ALEXANDER BUSOLD
Alexander is a crosscutting generalist with experience in philanthropy, strategy consulting, entrepreneurship and being a Holocaust commemoration activist. He is passionate about social impact strategies and using the power of public narrative. As a Senior Program Manager at the Alfred Landecker Foundation he identifies and partners with civil society visionaries. He is the founder of the Her.Tietz Initiative, a Senior Fellow of Humanity in Action, an alumnus of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, and a recipient of the Hertie School’s Alumni Achievement Award. He studied Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, and Management in Germany, India, and Argentina. Mary Oliver\'s poem ‘When Death Comes’ inspires him to make a difference in the here and now and to live to the fullest. Following Marshall Ganz, he understands leadership as accepting responsibility for enabling others to achieve shared purpose under conditions of uncertainty.
