About Alexander Wrona

From an early age, I began working for my father\'s business, Leszek Wrona\'s Soccer Academy & AJAX PREMIER. I started by coaching along side my father who was a former professional player and coach. I understood the responsibility I had which was to continue his legacy. I learned and observed the way he coached and the high standard he held himself, his staff and players to. When he stepped onto the field or into a meeting his charisma and professionalism was ever present. As I continued my education at Bryant University and grew my knowledge of running a successful business and gaining a better understanding my fathers business. I was entrusted with greater responsibilities such as networking within the local communities and attracting new clients to the club. In addition, I was tasked with improving and growing the relationships with our business partners. Upon graduation, my role increased again and I became responsible for managing the company\'s financial and operational side of the business. I began collecting payment from all of our clients, making weekly deposits and creating quarterly and yearly budget plans. Through the experience I gained at my financial services internship I also created a P&L analysis to present to my father. On the operational side I was in charge with scheduling all of our matches, facility rentals and assigning our staff coaches with field locations and arrival times for trainings / matches. When the COVID-19 pandemic arrived, our business went from in - person to completely virtual for over 12 weeks. I began conducting live Zoom training sessions and writing sessions plans for over 300 AJAX Premier players. In addition, to making YouTube training videos. Our objective during this time was client retention. I was tasked to connect with every family who was apart of our program prior to the lockdown and see if they would be staying or leaving the club. We were able to have a 90 % retention rate moving into the 20••••21 season. I have been extremely grateful to grow up in my father business and the life lessons and skills I learned are invaluable. At the age 22, I was responsible for running an entire business and growing it in the process, few people can say they had such a responsibility at such a young age. As I approach the next chapter of my life, I am looking to break into the finance world as a financial analyst and combine my knowledge of running a successful business, remarkable communication skills and unmatched work ethic.
