About Alexander Ryan
As the founder and CEO of VXB Inc, I am a champion of the use of generative design to solve significant challenges in developing advanced hardware from on-Earth to in-space. VXB is building a generative design software platform to reimagine the economics of advanced hardware production, starting with electromagnetic devices. Initially, we developed ultra-fast production satellite engines using our internal software, including a Hall Thruster in under 1 month. My academic foundation is in Evolutionary Topology Optimisation and the application of ML to solving design challenges for electromagnetic and plasma devices, including the use of particle simulation, and additive manufacturing. With 7 years of experience working as a lead engineer in the aerospace industry, I\'ve developed ML and metaheuristic analytics software, contributed to Lunar mission risk analysis, and worked with NASA on advanced statistical models for space debris avoidance.
