Born in County Durham, England, with a pure love for mathematics, I am a passionate and dedicated AWS Devops Engineer of more than 6 years standing.My core competencies are Devops Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, Event-driven Architecture, and Cloud Solution Architecture, using tools such as Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and Gitlab.I have multiple years of experience building enterprise scale, production grade infrastructure, mainly using Terraform as my infrastucture-as-code tool of choice.I pride myself on my problem solving abilities, and love the opportunity to learn new aspects of DevOps and Platform Engineering, whilst applying my existing wealth of knowledge in the area. I believe that knowledge is power, and I\'m always open to sharing my skill set with others.I have a lot of previous experience in monolith to microservice migrations. One of my favourite aspects of DevOps is always pushing things forward and modernising as much as possible.I have a lot of experience working to the ISO27001 standard, and have taken a previous company through a PCS-DSS level one audit.I have a keen interest in machine learning and creative coding applications, so I volunteer as Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Mahogany Teeth. This utilises a bare-metal Kubernetes deployment, allowing Machine Learning projects to be ran securely on NVIDIA ORIN NX SoC boards - with the use of NVIDA CUDA, Jetpack and PyTorch for edge computing deployments + event-driven components in AWS Lambda and Eventbridge.Thank you for your consideration.
