The Indiana University Funding Board is a body of students that provides support to student organizations at IU Bloomington by helping them obtain funding to facilitate events, enable their members, and enhance their organization. The Board is responsible for allocating over 1.1 million dollars to student organizations and funding over events campus wide-Allocate over $1M in student activity fees to student organizations by reviewing proposals, evaluating event feasibility, insuring compliance with board bylaws, and participating in board deliberations and voting decisions-Coordinate with student organizations to determine presentation scheduling, arrange presentation times for clubs seeking over through email, and serve as the primary point of contact for applicant organizations by responding to questions and providing guidance on the funding and presentation process-Organize funding request records through Microsoft Excel, tracking organization names, event dates, and scheduled presentation times to support efficient board operations and accurate documentation-Selected out of a diverse pool of competitive applicants to serve as a voting member of the university funding board and participated in individualized training to assume the role of Director of Operations
