During my PhD studies my research was focused on liposomes and their modification with functional amphiphiles, including lipidated peptide nucleic acids and DNA. Liposomes can be fused in a progammable way mediated by lipidated nucleic acids and utilized as nanoreactors for multistep synthesis. Another project was about the development of novel lipids for photosensitive drug delivery vehicles. Currently I\'m working as GMP Manager at the formulation department of BioNTech in Mainz.
