Researching the functional impact of genomic variants (specifically structural variants) on tissue-specific expression and regulation in the human brain using personal genomes, expanding upon the Epigenomes from Four Individuals (EN-TEx) resource. Built personal genomes for four healthy individuals from the Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) Project and identified instances of allele-specific expression and binding. Currently working on mapping single-cell omics datasets to personal genomes for both healthy and disease samples.
