I’m Alex Palmer, a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship through the Shuford Program. I’m passionate about leveraging economic analysis, data-driven decision-making, and entrepreneurial thinking to solve real-world challenges. I thrive on learning through experience, collaborating with diverse teams, and turning complex problems into actionable solutions.I thrive at the intersection of quantitative analysis and entrepreneurship, whether that be through data-driven decision-making, trend monitoring, or risk management. I continuously seek opportunities to challenge myself, develop my leadership skills, and apply creative problem-solving in both professional and personal settings.Beyond academics, I’m deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Growing up, I dedicated my time to volunteering and working as a steward for my town’s park department and local land trust.
