I have several years experience developing investment applications across many facets of finance & across a broad range of the tech stack. Working from both the perspective of market facilitators to market participants, I have experiencing solving the unique problems that both perspectives face. I am primarily a back-end developer, working across multiple languages (most recently Scala, Python, and Java).Through my time at Bridgewater presently, I have transitioned to solving more investment/investor focused problems & am using my engineering background to solve those problems systematically. I am primarily interested in opportunities that allow me work with cutting edge technologies to solve interesting investment related problems. Additionally, I am very interested in the science of developing people and will be most interested in opportunities where I can work through challenges in both areas. I am looking for that in an environment that is filled with people I can learn from & that will challenge me constantly.
