ABOUT ALEXANDER MOLDOVAN

Specializing in entitlements, land development, and acquisition across Northeast Florida, North Central Florida, and South Georgia. I guide projects through complex regulatory processes including rezonings, comprehensive plan amendments, and permitting while developing detailed project budgets and overseeing development from due diligence through completion.My unique perspective comes from five years as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Jacksonville, including serving as Chairman. This experience taught me how municipal government really works and built relationships that matter in getting projects approved and moving forward.My path here wasn’t typical. After my Navy service, I earned my undergraduate degree in Sustainability and MBA from Jacksonville University. My wife and I then spent six years building and running our own business. An experience that taught us about risk, execution, and what it takes to succeed. That entrepreneurial background led to my Planning Commission appointment and naturally transitioned into my current focus on development and entitlements.What sets me apart is understanding both sides of the table. I know what developers need to succeed and what city officials are looking for in a project. I’ve built trust with key players across the region’s development ecosystem - from city staff and commissioners to landowners, brokers, and fellow developers.This rapidly growing region is experiencing unprecedented growth, creating opportunities for those who can navigate the complexities of land development.
