About Alexander Martinez
A graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, I have experience working with sports partnership and sponsorship sales, logistics coordination, sales account management, Store Management, Team Leadership, Cold Calling and premium event coordination. I am currently working for Sherwin-Williams in their MTProgram which combines Sales, Team Leadership, Customer Service and Inventory management in order to provide an exceptional experience for everyone I interact with a daily basis. Before that I worked as a Logistics Coordinator at Total Quality Logistics involved managing freight and coordinating the transportation of high-value commodities across the U.S. and Canada. I spent time assisting with the Frederick Keys of the MLB draft league and Minor League affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball as a Sales Associate working to help sell tickets for the baseball team. Through this opportunity I learned how to effectively Cold call anyone from individuals to large businesses. Using lead generation, Phone skills, Cold Calling, and Business Development skills to enhance the teams Customer Relations while being extremely successful throughout selling tickets.Previously, I contributed to the Mountaineer Athletic Club as a Premium Club Coordinator and Premium Seating Coordinator, providing exceptional service to premium ticket holders and donors. My skills include lead generation, identifying new opportunities, and customer success management, which I leverage in challenging professional environments.
