In my current role, I am a Senior Specialist supporting the Merck Manufacturing Division\'s Finance Team, performing FP & A activities for the site. I currently am the FP & A lead for the Rotateq vaccine franchise at the West Point manufacturing site. My responsibilities are to track, analyze and manage all FP & A activities on a periodic basis for the Rotateq franchise. I am a member of the Rotateq franchise leadership team, and I collaborate on a daily basis with the leaders of the franchise to ensure that all financial activities are completed in an accurate manner according to site guidelines and procedures. Key financial metrics managed within this role include but are not limited to: Headcount, Payroll & Benefits, Overtime, Total Operations Spending, Manufacturing Variances, Transfers to Inventory, Capital Projects, Fix Asset Counting, Profit Planning, Semi-annual Forecasting, and Annual Budgeting.
