A Quantity Surveyor with a strong foundation in accounting, having previously worked for blue-chip organisations. I bring a unique combination of technical construction knowledge and financial acumen to every project. Excellent practical knowledge & experience in finance accounting operations where I developed expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, cost control, management accounts, and both direct and indirect taxation. This grounding enables me to approach quantity surveying with a commercially focused mindset and a deep understanding of financial principles.My experience includes extensive work with NEC3 & 4 contracts across a range of contract types, including Option A, C, and E predominantly from small fast turnaround key projects, just large multi disciplinary ones. Confident in contract administration, cost management, and change control processes within the NEC suite. I understand the nuances of compliance, early warning notifications, and programme assessments required to manage projects effectively under these forms of contract.I have a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach to project delivery, allowing me to effectively manage costs, forecast budgets, identify risk, and optimise resource use from pre-contract to final account.
