ABOUT ALEXANDER KUZIW

I\'ve previously completed a Master of Science degree in European Union Politics at the London School of Economics in 2018, which was a multidisciplinary degree where I’ve expanded my knowledge on international relations, political economy, European public policy, qualitative and quantitative research. I have incorporated the information I\'ve learned at LSE into my graduate dissertation on the economic relationship between Canada and the European Union, specifically focusing on the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), the free trade agreement between Canada and the EU. I have also conducted interviews for my dissertation with European and Canadian government officials, who helped negotiate CETA at the decision-making stages of the agreement. I have several years of political experience working on multiple campaigns at the federal and provincial level of Canadian politics canvassing within communities across Toronto, as well as working at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Through my prior academic and professional background, I have acquired experience in political campaigns, qualitative and quantitative research, communicating with government and stakeholders, as well as drafting speeches, policy and stakeholder mapping reports and briefing notes.
