Geologist working in Freeport-McMoRan\'s Exploration department. I started with the Innovations Group in April 2025. Prior to joining the Innovations Group, I and another geologist oversaw core and RC drilling programs at both the Tyrone and Chino mines in southwestern New Mexico, and I spent approximately 6 months logging core in Tucson, AZ. My responsibilities included:– Daily core and RQD logging of exploration drill holes– Coordinating with mine operations to construct drill pads– Sending RC and core sample shipments to Tucson– Writing and conducting weekly drilling update meetings with cross-shift geologist– Managing monthly and quarterly exploration budget accruals and forecasts– FMI operating sites worked: Tyrone (Jan-Feb 2024, September-October 2024), Chino (September-March 20••••25), When at Freeport\'s exploration center, my responsibilities included:– Core logging of porphyry-style exploration drill holes from the Safford deposit– Coordinating with the Databases Group to manage pulp submittals from multiple North American FMI sites.
