ABOUT ALEXANDER HANHAN
Alexander serves as the lead tax principal on a number of clients. Before joining KPMG\'s Business Tax Services group in 2020, he was an International Tax Principal at KPMG focused on cross-border consulting projects for large multinationals. In serving a number of industries in the diverse Bay Area and Texas markets, Alexander consults on global tax compliance, tax provision, SPAC and traditional IPOs, restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions. He also provides tax advice on efficient business structures for U.S. based businesses expanding into foreign markets and foreign-based businesses entering the U.S. Alexander leads or teams with KPMG member firms on a number of large scale global compliance clients. He also specializes in preparing / auditing tax provisions for financial reporting (ASC 740 and IFRS), and serves as the lead tax signoff principal on a number of SEC Audit clients.Alexander often speaks on international tax matters for organizations such as the Tax Executives Institute, Bloomberg and more.
