ABOUT ALEXANDER ALEX DOCKUM

Hi, I\'m Alex, I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management at James Madison University. My time at JMU has been incredibly rewarding, it\'s a campus filled with a unique sense of community that truly feels like home.I\'ve stayed active on campus by joining Phi Gamma Nu, a professional development organization that has had a huge impact on both my personal and professional growth. Through PGN, I’ve made lifelong friends, taken on leadership roles, and participated in events that have strengthened my skills and expanded my network. I’m also a proud member of JMU Club Golf and the Madison Networking Group, both of which have added even more great people and experiences to my journey.My long-term goal is to one day own and operate my own golf course and restaurant a dream that drives my passion for business and leadership. As I work toward that vision, I hope to begin my career in Manufacturing Operations, Risk Management Consulting, or Marketing, where I can apply my strengths and grow professionally.I bring experience in team leadership, customer service, time management, problem-solving, graphic design, and marketing. Among these, leadership is where I thrive most. My role as a Merchandise Supervisor at Kings Dominion taught me the value of efficient teamwork and what it takes to lead with both confidence and empathy. While I know I still have much to learn, I remain incredibly optimistic and excited about where my journey will take me.Grateful for the support I’ve received so far and looking forward to what’s next.
