ABOUT ALEXANDER DAMIANO RICCI
I am currently coordinating all things related to EU Grants at Correctiv, the leading German independent investigative non profit media organisation, based in Berlin.Between 2022 and 2025 - as Founding member and Chief Operating Officer of Europod - I coordinated a team and network of talented journalists and creators producing multilingual podcasts on European current affairs, and developed successful applications for EU grants (Creative Europe and DG Connect). Previously, between 2019 and 2022 I served as Head of Content and EU project developer at Babel International NGO (publisher of the multilingual online magazine, Cafébabel.com), ideating and launching the Sphera Network under a DG Connect grant. I have always been passioned about cross-border journalism and have, therefore, aimed at creating impactful media projects engaging diverse national audiences across Europe.
