Design for satcom, aerospace, defense, and cellular markets-Coordinate with marketing, production, assembly, packaging, and foundry counterparts to release successful MMIC/RFIC, and RF multi-chip module products on-time, under-budget, and with first-pass success-Use AWR Microwave Office, AWR Analyst, and Keysight Genesys to design MMICs/RFICs and RF PCBs-Designed and taped-out 26.5-30.5 GHz three-stage class-AB NGC GaN PA for satcom and military radar applications. Achieved 24 dB small-signal gain, 31% PAE, 45 dBm OIP3, 37 dBm OP1dB, and 17 dB I/O return loss all with < 5 W/mm dissipated power in all devices-Designed and taped-out 26-32 GHz TDD NGC GaN FEM for 5G cellular, comprised of 5 W, three-stage class-AB PA, three-stage high-linearity LNA, and compact, low-loss SPDT. In TX-mode, achieved 22.5 dB small-signal gain, 28% PAE, 44 dBm OIP3, 36 dBm OP1dB, and 17 dB I/O return loss, with < 5 W/mm dissipated power. In RX-mode, achieved 21 dB small-signal gain, 32 dBm OIP3, 22 dBm OP1dB, and 15 dB I/O return loss-Designed and taped-out 60-65 GHz 2 W MMIC PA in 90 nm GaN process as part of Starry Nite MPW program-Designed and taped-out 31-38 GHz, 10 W, two-stage Ku-band class-AB MMIC PA in BAE GaN process-Designed and taped-out both 8-pole and 4-pole (for each band) 2-4.5 GHz, 12-15.5 GHz, and 15-18.5 GHz low-loss, high-rejection Win GaAs MMIC elliptic bandpass filters for both standalone use and incorporation into a switched-fixed-filter bank MCM PCB-Designed and oversaw fabrication of 2-18.5 GHz switched-fixed-filter bank multi-chip module PCB on two-layer Rogers RO4350B, using above filters-Designed 3x3 and 4x4 QFN MMIC evaluation RF PCBs on Rogers RO4003-Designed and taped-out 12-18 GHz two-stage, 2W reactively-matched, high-power Win MMIC GaN LNA with 1.45 dB NF, 17 dB small-signal gain, and 43 dBm OIP3
