ABOUT ALEXANDER BROWN
Two things I would have never guessed about my journey. That after being released from prison, I would become a government employee as a Paralegal with the Cook County Public Defenders Office, one of the largest law firms in the country. Also, I would have never imagined me becoming a State Certified Recovery Support Specialist, and now I am studying to become an LCPC Clinical Counselor. I am so proud of myself. I am on a path of innovatively changing the way we provide resources for our communities intentionally.
