Dubbed a “campaign magician” by Forbes, Alex Braun is an award-winning strategist, researcher and communications expert. He is Chief Strategy Office at HarrisX, a global data analytics company, and he has also founded and leads the research and international political practices at SKDK, one of America’s top public affairs consultancies. Additionally, he has been an adjunct professor of campaign management at George Washington University. Alex specializes in translating research into stories and actionable recommendations. He has conducted hundreds of polls, focus groups and other research instruments for major public affairs, nonprofit, and media organizations and corporations such as Microsoft, Amazon, Pfizer, IBM, Ford, and Comcast. In the political arena, Alex has worked on more than a hundred political campaigns around the world. In addition to US campaigns, from presidential to downballot, he has advised prime ministers in the United Kingdom, India, and Croatia and presidents in Mexico, Ukraine, and the Philippines, among others. Alex has been named International Campaign Consultant of the Year by the American Association of Political Consultants, and one of its “40 under 40.” He has won the Reed Award and the Polaris Award for his work and frequently speaks about analysis and strategy at conferences and in the media on both sides of the Atlantic. Additionally, Alex co-founded a global social impact nonprofit Moonshot Platform and a Czech think-tank Solvo. He also cofounded an AI-based mental health app and mentors young tech founders. Before HarrisX and SKDK, Alex spent 15 years in journalism, research, and PR.
