I am a shareholder with Polsinelli’s national Technology Transactions and Data Privacy practice. I leverage my experience as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and as a litigator to lead organizations in responding to data security incidents and complying with state, national, and international data privacy and cybersecurity regulations. I consistently work with leading cyber insurers and forensic security firms to investigate every type of data security incident and to provide my clients time-sensitive, practical advice during all stages of an incident. I assist organizations in responding to regulatory investigations opened by state attorneys general, the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, the National Credit Union Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or other state or federal enforcement agencies. My practice also focuses on providing proactive, pre-breach data privacy advice and drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, terms of service, and other technology-based transactions. I coordinate with attorneys in Polsinelli’s leading health care, financial services, litigation, and intellectual property practices to provide my clients with seamless, comprehensive legal advice.
