ABOUT ALEXANDER BARNES
As a Senior Manager within PwC\'s Finance Transformation GTM team my focus is to help our Financial Services clients solve complex busines problems, using technology as an catalyst to respond to the latest market disruptors with innovative solutions to transform their finance function. I am an Oracle ERPM Cloud expert with certifications covering Receivables, Payables and the General Ledger modules, with experience working in the role of Solution Architect and ERP Lead covering multiple, complex workstreams. Over the past four years my focus has been on delivering value for my Insurance sector clients, with their adherance to IFRS17 statutory reporting an immediate deadline but a focus on a longer term, strategic vision for their Cloud based Finance system architecture. This involved leading change at a leading insurer and reinsurer in the London Lloyds market, a FTSE 100 general insurer and working with a US based P&C global insurer with a Lloyds Syndicate. Outside of the Insurance sector I have experience as O2C lead at a FTSE 100 global retailer, as well as ERP lead roles within Banking and Capital Markets, Retail, Local Government and Life Sciences industries.
