Systems Development Manager - Smokejumpers:I manage a team of Systems Development Engineers responsible for: Security, Operational Efficiency and Builder Experience for Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) environments. Originally singularly focused on the Linux platform, I rebranded the Keystone Systems Development team in Q1 2024 to the Smokejumpers, developing a new vision and mission, providing support for Microsoft services, tooling and coding as well as our existing Linux based tooling. Hiring and developing the best, I doubled the team size, hiring Windows Subject Matter Experts, as well as provided training and resources to upskill my existing team. The result being, the Smokejumpers design, develop, test, integrate, deploy and monitor Windows/Linux solutions that reduce operational burden, increase visibility and enhance security for ADC teams and builders- Systems Development Manager - Keystone:I managed a team of Systems Development Engineers responsible for the development and operations for 22 internal Amazon services, within the secure ADC environment. Supporting 3 teams (US West Coast, US East Coast and UK), I collaborated, managed, scaled, and delivered solutions that enhance the customer experience, expand the AWS capability set, eliminate operational burden through automation and establish durable processes to maintain a high standard.
