ABOUT ALEXANDER HUYNH

Nice to e-meet you, my name is Alexander Huynh and I\'m currently a finance student at Pace University in New York City. A little about myself, I was born in Vietnam but I moved to America when I was 11 and I feel beyond grateful for the better life and opportunities that America has provided for me. However, as an immigrant, there still lies in me that drive to excel in everything that I do to make my parents proud and quite frankly, I think that is the meaning of life, to strive for excellence in everything that you do in life. As a kid, I was always competitive. I was a triathlete in high school playing soccer, basketball, and track. I also participated in mock trial and was the lead attorney for my mock trial team. Academically, I have always have a strong affinity for all things math-related. I enjoy modelling real world scenarios and apply data to predict pattern, and this practice has translated into my passion for finance. During college, I have interned twice for Fidelity Investments as a summer analysts where I worked directly with custodian banks to manage CDOs and CLOs, led cross-functional projects for optimizing data strategy and operational efficiency, and assisted in the modeling impacts of new securities on cashflow and equity. As of now, I\'m Bloomberg certified and is also expected to be graduating in December 2023. I\'m also looking for new learning opportunities in Wealth Management, Investment Strategy, and Alternative Investments.
