About Alexa Sheridan

Alexa began her public accounting career as an Audit Associate with KPMG in October 2020 and was promoted to Senior Audit Associate in July 2022. In August 2024, she joined Richey May & Co. as a Senior Audit Associate, where she focuses on serving mortgage banking clients. She is a licensed CPA in both New York and North Carolina and resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.Alexa graduated in May 2020 with her Master of Science in Accounting degree (MSA) from the University of Tampa. While pursuing this degree, she worked as a Graduate Assistant for the University’s Career Services department. Alexa completed her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree at the University of Tampa in December 2018, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a minor in Leadership Studies. While at the University of Tampa, she played for the NCAA women’s soccer team and held the position of captain. She was also involved with the President’s Leadership Fellows, as well as Beta Alpha Psi- the university’s accounting and finance professional organization.
