In coordination with the school clinical social worker, conducted one-on-one interviews with students with attendance issues at YouthBuild Preparatory Academy, addressing the root causes behind their absence from school- Created and managed a tracker to monitor student feedback and engagement strategies- Managed student attendance spreadsheet to keep track of students at risk of truancy- Made 3x/week calls to parents and guardians whose students have attendance issues, including Spanish-speaking parents and guardians- Met with officials from the Rhode Island Department of Education to discuss efforts against chronic absenteeism- Administered an individualized Student Success Plan for each student\'s needs and goals, both academic/career-related and personal.
