ABOUT ALEXA DICAPRIO
From a young age, my curiosity about the inner workings of devices sparked an interest that has only deepened with my ongoing education. This curiosity has not only grown over time but has also become a driving force, enhancing my analytical thinking skills.During my initial two years of college, I studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Denver while simultaneously competing as a goalie on the Division 1 Women’s Varsity Lacrosse team. I then transferred to Union College to finish my major in electrical engineering, where I had the opportunity to meld my passion for sports and technology. Here, I crafted my capstone project to align with this intersection, collaborating with Union’s Lacrosse team to develop a user-friendly interface. This innovative solution aims to provide valuable insights into how specific lacrosse sticks can enhance an athlete’s shot.I hope to continue to align my passions within my career and extracurriculars as a graduate and start a new milestone.
