ABOUT ALEXA DALTON
I am a Junior at Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Information Systems with a minor in International Business. I am very energetic, people-oriented, and enjoy making new connections. Additionally, I hold a strong foundation in accounting, finance, project management, research, data analysis, communication, and international economics. I am passionate about leveraging new technology, collaboration, and strategic thinking to drive impactful academic and professional outcomes.I am a student researcher for SCM496 (Sigma Chi Mu Tau), an experimental learning program for supply chain within the Smeal College of Business. I also serve as the Vice President & Treasurer of The Business in Cosmetics Club, using refined networking skills to bring in industry guest speakers and hold workshops while leading over 300 members. I am also a member of the Supply Chain Management Association, Penn State Finance Society, Women in Economics Society, and Women in Business. This past summer, I worked as an Accounting Intern at Klein Property Management, where I managed a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate properties, built customized end-of-month financial reports for each, and ensured regulatory compliance of licensing agreements. This experience gave me a well-rounded understanding of general business operations and strengthened my accounting and finance skillset.
