ABOUT ALEXA BAKKEN

Fueled by a passion for driving human connection, my background in non-profit work and building community at CorePower Yoga has equipped me with a unique perspective and invaluable skills to connect others. As I transition into the marketing profession, I bring the same level of drive, ambition, and commitment to making a positive impact. Currently pursuing my MBA, I am eager to leverage my advanced business education to contribute to innovative marketing strategies and achieve outstanding results.My professional journey has sharpened my communication skills, enabling me to build strong, authentic relationships with whatever group my profession requires me to target. With experience working with vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, survivors of modern slavery, and homeless individuals, I have been able to develop a deep understanding of how to engage with different markets.I am a highly adaptable worker, as demonstrated by my experience in three different roles while completing grad school: SET Coordinator at CorePower, Front Office Coordinator at Eastside Eye Candy, and Server at Salish Lodge and Spa. I thrive in fast-paced environments and am ready to tackle new challenges with creativity and enthusiasm, continually improving operations as I have done in these positions.I am currently seeking roles in marketing, data analysis, customer experience specialist, and event planning.
