ABOUT ALEX WHITTON
I work as a coach and facilitator to support people and organisations to lead authentically.For me we are always leading, the challenge is leading in a way that allows us to bring all of our skills, strengths and experiences to our context, to be authentic, to be fully us. In my work 1-to-1 with individuals, with groups and organisations I help people to get clear on what leading authentically looks like for them, what gets in the way and what could be possibly to lead authentically. In short to be more of them in every moment.Why do I do this? I believe if we are all fully us, we do our best work, which is to the benefit of everyone. We are more connected with ourselves and others and we create a ripple effect that empowers and inspires others. And because leading authentically can feel scary and vulnerable - it certainly has and still does for me - and we don\'t need to go through it alone. Yet if we don\'t lean into that what do we and the world miss out on if we don\'t lead authentically?And personally, from being an aspiring rugby player to a charity CEO there have been times where I haven\'t led authentically and have missed out on opportunities and there have been times where I haven\'t made the most of opportunities by not leading authentically. Finally, I am passionate about ensuring that people from all walks of life access support to consider what it is to lead authentically for them.
