I am double majoring in Management and Human Resources at Portland State University. Hard work and determination are key aspects in defining who I am. I discovered this in my highschool days of playing basketball and overcoming many injuries and serious concussion to play the game I love and put countless hours perfecting my skills each and everyday. From this experience I realized that the only limit to my success is myself. I carry this ideology with me and will do so for the rest of my life. Prioritized long-term goals of mine are to develop a career in a business related field. I am confident that my skillset, competitive edge, and attention to detail will contribute to achieving my career goals. I value a harmonious work environment, effective leadership, and creating meaningful relationships. These values are vital in the career which I am striving for.Through my experience with hardship, I discovered a core strength that propels me to conquer any obstacle life throws my way. It also gave me the confidence that I can do amazing things when I put my mind to do something. I believe that by transitioning that mentality to my professional career, the sky is the limit.
