I am most passionate and proud of those of my accomplishments that have led to strategic breakthroughs. Yes, you always need to deliver on budgets, projects, and people metrics, but there is something special in changing the course and re-charting the future, be it technology, function, or a non-profit I am associated with. In my 20 years in the Information and Communication Technologies space, I have always been attracted to the art and science of being the change leader in a complex, highly dynamic environment. The military calls it VUCA, or \"volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous.\" Over the years, these have been Optical Computing (20+ years ago), Voice over IP, transformative automation, social media, resetting the bar on network\'s contribution to business, and now looking at the cloud/GenAI transformation.
