I am passionate about finding solutions to supply chain and operational problems. Using my knowledge of supply and demand I am confident making the right decisions to optimise processes to allow operations to run smoothly.I am good at quickly understanding what is required to achieve the company\'s goal. By being able to move from the overview to the specifics of what needs to be done, I translate the company vision into meaningful actions.At Cummins, I led a 6 Sigma project to achieve market expected lead times by reducing the wait time before the product was manufactured. This allowed us to get the product manufactured and shipped globally ahead of the competition.When Abcam made their largest acquisition, I took ownership for planning how the new products and their inventory would be integrated into the existing supply chain process. This entailed carefully managing the 2 separate supply chains whilst working on processes and systems to integrate the 2 with no down time.I work at my best when I have problems to find solutions for, am using my analytical skills and motivating the teams I manage and work alongside.Extensive experience and knowledge in the strategic planning and transportation of products, experienced in a range of programs and tools including Planning of procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution.I thrive on working with fine levels of detail and consistently achieve strict deadlines and prioritise complex and challenging work loads. A supportive team player, with the ability to coach and build relationships with colleagues at all levels.A tenacious and flexible individual who takes pride in learning new challenges swiftly.
