ABOUT ALEX STINARD
I’m an emergency physician executive (20+ years) and clinical AI architect. At Commure, I design, operationalize, and govern agentic ambient scribing at national scale—≈1% of U.S. visits. The system uses multi‑agent orchestration with durable knowledge‑graph memory, vector retrieval, ontology‑aware prompting, and deterministic EHR tool use. Safety is a first‑class product surface. I design guardrails and adversarial red‑teaming (prompt‑injection, data leakage, jailbreaks), PHI/PII controls, and scenario‑based evaluations. Outputs are structured to CDI/DRG requirements with auditability and traceable tool calls. Long‑horizon behavior is handled with test‑time compute and stateful memory across encounters. At HCA, I serve as the enterprise subject‑matter expert for clinical documentation and was the emergency‑medicine physician responsible for the Meditech Expanse rollout affecting millions of ED visits. I previously served as Regional Medical Director (Orlando). I am Vice Chair of the Board at Lake Monroe Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UCF. Earlier, I advised Augmedix’s AI program alongside partners such as Google. My focus spans multi‑agent systems; knowledge‑graph memory + embeddings; retrieval governance; ontology‑driven prompts; FHIR/HL7 integrations; safety (red‑teaming and guardrails); and evaluation that moves CDI, denials, LOS, and throughput. Let’s connect at the intersection of safety, agentic systems, and real‑world deployment. Contact: a••••••••@hcahealthcare.com a••••••••@commure.com a••••••••@gmail.com
