About Alex Spaulding
I build the operational infrastructure that lets organizations execute on their strategy, without dismantling what already works. I spent a decade at Litelab Corporation progressing from Database Architect to COO, modernizing 22 years of legacy systems while the business kept running. I led the company\'s first ERP implementation in that time, scaled monthly shipping from $900K to $2.1M, improved on-time delivery from 75% to 95% in six weeks, and managed a 116-person manufacturer with direct employees in the US and Europe and manufacturing partnerships in Asia. I know what operational transformation actually costs, what it requires, and what it looks like when it works. Since leaving Litelab I\'ve been doing the same work from the outside; as Founder of Non-Linear Dynamics Consulting and Strategic Advisor to the CEO at Breadcrumb Analytics. I partner with founders and organizational leaders to identify gaps, build scalable systems, and translate strategic vision into execution-ready infrastructure. I\'ve learned that the most valuable thing I can bring into an engagement isn\'t the answer. It\'s the right question at the right moment, even when the answer is already clear to me. That discipline is what builds trust. My PhD from the University of Glasgow/The Glasgow School of Art focused on understanding how complex systems, aesthetic environments, and interconnected elements interacted to produce outcomes that transcend their individual parts and known languages. I hold an MIT certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning. Open to roles that can leverage my knowledge and skills.
