   Having started at Playbook in 2018 as the company\'s first long-term hire, I\'ve had the pleasure of being at the forefront of growing what started as our owner\'s side hobby business into a full-fledged ecommerce brand with global sales and a retail presence in more than a hundred locations nationwide.Having successfully held several roles including design, customer service, head of marketing, biz dev, and most recently as COO - the Board saw me as the perfect candidate for Chief Executive Officer. In 2023, I was \"handed the reigns\" as CEO to continue to drive Playbook Products forward.Current responsibilities include- Develop and execute business strategies that will propel company growth- Serve as main lead for developing sales plans and coordinating with buyers to expand our B2B channel. Focusing on collegiate bookstores, big-box retailers, and other sports and homegoods stores nationwide- Develop and monitor marketing strategies including online ads, social media presence, and more, to drive traffic to our ecommerce platforms- Manage e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Etsy, and Amazon), including website design, UI, product listings, pricing and inventory management- Analyze data and identify trends to make data-driven recommendations for growth opportunities and potential areas of improvement- Collaborate with other executives, managers, and employees to identify meaningful solutions and to continue to provide customers with high quality experiences and products.
