About Alex Saint-Blancard

Alex Saint-Blancard was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Cuban immigrants. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelors in Electrical Engineering and went on to earn his master degree in both Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Florida.Alex joined the Universal Creative team as a Ride and Show Engineering Manager in May of 2023. Prior to Universal Creative, Alex worked at the Boeing Company as a Wire Designer and Install Engineer at their Electrical Design Technical Center, an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at the KC-46 Light and Camera Lab and a Guidance, Navigations and Controls Engineer serving as equipment manager for the 737 NG and MAX stabilizer trim motor and 737 MAX BBJ integrated standby flight display assemblies at first and later within the Flight Controls maintenance organization. Alex also worked at Harris Corporation. While at Harris, he worked on several military and commercial communication projects, the FAA nationwide Telecommunications Infrastructure project amongst them.Outside of work, Alex enjoys the time he spends with family and friends, traveling, volunteering and dancing. He is active in a number of community and nonprofit organizations like the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and the Association of Hispanic MBAs (PROSPANICA). The memberships have allowed Alex to promote science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers, higher education, the organizations themselves, his employers and the Hispanic community. Within SHPE in particular, Alex has had a number of roles at the local, regional and national levels. He is currently the Onsite Support chair for the SHPE national convention.Alex earned the Eagle rank, the Boy Scouts’ highest rank and has also received an Airplane Development Excellence award and the SHPE’s Francesca Escoto Professional Member Leadership and Presidents awards.
