Operations Director - Chequers @Churchill Group

Initially recruited as a Key Account Manager to over see, progress and retain the East Sussex County Council Contract. The contract was successfully renewed and new tasks in 2015 included the recruitment, start up and management of the Siemens Depot project in Three Bridges along with being a key member of the mobilisation team for the JLL Contract, the largest in the companies history at that time. Promoted in 2016 as an Operations Manager for the Southern Region managing 7 Account Managers and an \'in region\' portfolio with a turnover of over £5m.In 2021, after the success and retention of the JLL contract, and with the growth of Combined Services within this portfolio and others, a role was created for me, as a Specialist Contract Director, which would involve sitting across both the cleaning and security operations of the group. This is a first for the company and provides a unique opportunity to develop and manage these contracts in this growing area of the business. A unique and exciting opportunity which shows, again, the proactive and forward thinking way in which The Churchill Group continues to evolve.After 3 successful years in a Group first role an exciting opportunity arose in the Chequers Division. Seeing huge growth in the past year Chequers required an internal restructure. As Head of Cleaning and Projects, this National role will hold the remit of the companies national Cleaning Operations utilising 6 Operations Managers, each with 3 to 4 Regional Account Managers. This along with a focus on Company Projects and a dedicated Social Value and ADHOC works lead as part of the reporting team. With the opportunity to build and contribute to this lighting fast growing business, the role was one that could not be turned down. After 8 months, and a structure review the role was amended to Operations Director to reflect the remit, responsibilities and reporting lines.
