I currently am leading the Business Analysis team at Avangrid Renewables in Portland, OR. I perform economic, quantitative, and/or financial analysis on business decisions and Renewable fleet operations. Additionally, I am implementing AGILE methodologies to our work cadences to help track and report out on our deliverables, using my former Scrum experience working in software at Caterpillar.I also recently have been deeply involved with carbon and regulatory reporting with Avangrid. If you or your company are looking for someone that\'s an SMA when it comes to carbon reporting for California and Washington, I have been in charge of Avangrid\'s regulatory reporting in this space for the last 4 years. I offer nearly 5 years of corporate management training experience through two very experienced companies, as well as 4 years of hands on management through my current company. With a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering - Electrical Specialty from Colorado School of Mines, I have experience with other forms of engineering including mechanical and civil work from previous roles from schooling and projects as well as economic analysis (i.e. cash flow and ROI / ROR).    Leading the Business Analysis team within the Operational Performance group at Avangrid Renewables. A fast-paced group in the middle of data analytics and reporting within the company. The Business Analysis team handles all forms of requests from regulatory compliance to fleet-wide metrics on performance, financials, and optimization. Responsibilities inside the team encompass gross margin real-time signal generation, ad hoc reports and analysis, large data set management, reporting & analysis, regulatory compliance and reporting, and development of new processes. The different deliverables include, but are not limited to, Northwest Balancing Authority reporting, California Air Resource Board (CARB) & Washington Cap and Trade reporting, operational fleet reporting and metric management, economic dispatch analysis, contractual analysis, future cost projection, economic curtailment cost analysis, bat curtailment regulatory management, and budget analysis.Team and personal goals in the short term include developing and implementing Scrum methodologies into work cadences, automating fleetwide Gross Margin reporting, and building a solid and happy team! We are also aiming to build more AI-based practices into our reporting to streamline if possible.
