Every Earth Day, Neighborhood Forests gives free trees to children across North America. We also offer year-round employee engagement events, with measurable local impact. We host employee volunteer events where volunteers build a mini food forest guild, or pot a succulent, and gift it to children 🀠. We also plant food forests at schools, with children, at a fun, playful, and educational plant & dance party.I lead our mini food forest and school food forest programs. I also work on partnership development, pollinating our mission and ethos to spread more joy, beauty, and goodness around the world through impactful partnerships and fundraising opportunities that inspire employees and empower communities. All funds raised support more free trees and plants for kids.If you are interested in collaborating, fundraising, or hosting an event for your organization or community β€” please reach out!

ABOUT ALEX POPP

Humans are the shepherds of this beautiful live-giving biosphere that we call Earth. How can we create a human culture that embodies our role as the protectors and stewards of our shared home? How can we live on this planet in a way that regenerates it, instead of degenerates it?These are the questions that permaculture seeks to address. Permaculture provides a roadmap and framework for developing an everlasting culture, by living in harmony with the natural world. Just as our ancestors did for millennia. Permaculture = culture built to permanently last. Permanent culture. My purpose as a human is to pollinate these regenerative solutions and empower individuals, organizations, and communities to adopt them into their lifestyles. Neighborhood Forest advances this world by giving free trees, plants, and food forests to children! Our next generation is brought closer to nature while their trees and plants rebuild ecosystems, sequester carbon, and provide organic, nourishing food. PermaCulture Party cultivates this culture by empowering communities to dance, play, and eat their lawns. We\'ll design your food forest, install your food forest, or host a community-focused plant & dance party. 🀠If you, or your organization, is interested in connecting, please reach out β€” I\'d love to connect!
