ABOUT ALEX POLONSKY
I am a Partner at Morgan Lewis focusing on nuclear energy and environmental issues ranging from nuclear industry licensing, litigation, and investigations, to radiation toxic tort and Superfund litigation. I am a frequent speaker at conferences on nuclear export–related matters, including 10 CFR Part 810. I also support investigations and litigation. My prior career as an environmental consultant allows me to advocate effectively in technically-complex proceedings, to provide due diligence support for energy and environmental transactions, and to work seamlessly with experts.Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, I clerked for a summer with the NRC\'s Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel (ASLBP). I worked for ICF Kaiser Engineers before that, consulting with the government and corporations on CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, and other environmental statutes and regulations. I am the co-author of the textbook \"Fundamentals of Nuclear Regulation in the United States\" and am an instructor for \"Nuclear Regulation 101\".
